Reflections : Bandora or Banadoora?

Is anyone else out there,other than my husband and me,annoyed at the way us Jordanians despise our accent? The airwaves are a very good proof of that. Most djs on arabic radios airing from Jordan are lebanese, the ones who are not ,try to adopt a lebanese accent.Commercials are all in lebanese-let alone the fact that they have three or four people max who do all commercials..-Some stations try to go creative so they go egyptian or exaggerated palestinian .My hairdresser who is Salti..as soon as he started being famous adopted a lebanese accent..someone must have told him it was real silly so he stopped a few months later....

Hello!?! i feel that pride in our accent is much more than that..you take pride in your country by admiring all taht is Jordanian,whether the accent of the north or the south,or even our ecclectic ammanite mix that stems from all our different origins.That's what makes Amman this special ..we ammanites have developed this accent through out the recent decades but it is still our accent. So.. people ! Please , if you know anyone out there on the radios or TV,please ask them to revive our accents.We are genuine people,everyone agrees on that..let's not ruin it with a fake accent..
