Well said Kinzi,
i had the same argument with a manager for another local resurant..the music was so loud, you cant hear the person setting in the same table and kids were all over the place..staring at Shakera!!
And i dont think anything would change if Salam told the manager.. if he was a good manager in the first place he would be sure to check upon his employess...
besides..i guess we the customers some times have to carry out the Customer care opart for our selfs so we can get a smile ..thats if you are lucky to get one!
should have gone for "firqet sala7if al ninja al isti3radiyeh - biqiyadat al fannan khaled al bourini". their most famous hit was "go ninja go ninja go!"
in fact, i may still have their business card tucked somewhere from like 10 years. you never know when you need their number.
My problem is that I wa there as a guest ,it wasn't my kids birthday and I didn't want to make a scene, but I usually do.One time my friends and I took the kids to Bambolina,Kinzi, you probably want it and they had Haifa Wahbi songs in the karaoke room, and their was an eight year old girl who was dancing in a repulsive manner,I hate dehr ..where has the innocence gone, she was moving slowly and touching herself and shaking ehr hair in a wahbi style dance..i mean where is her mother,I had to complain and ask to have nursery rhymes only .Of course I know as soon as i left it was showtime again.
Yes, Salam, I suppose as a guest you can't really raise a ruckus. The times I have complained, I have almost always had two or three other Arab moms join me! Sort of an empowerment high!
I've managed to avoid Bambolina so far. I am SO sad for the story of this young girl...it is almost like the abuse of 'pre-sexualization'. Good for you for complaining...it was for the good of everyone there.
From Roba's post, I'll tell you that I am 45, my first confession of being the oldest jp poster! Saw the world first, married and had kids later. One of my friends had her first child at 15, and I am older than than her daughter's GREAT grandmother!
It has been great to have you and Khalideh, young ladies that you are, to write about motherhood type things!
kinzi,do you have a blog on Jp?I always read your comments but never a blog so if you have ne which one is it??
Hi Salam...I don't have a blog yet, hubby is afraid I'll spend all my time on it (relational creature that I am). He is right and a wise man, and if I can discipline myself, maybe this Spring.
Thanks for letting me post hatta low mish blogger anjad!
well you should kinzi, you have interesting views on things all the time..I'm looking forward for your blog.
cheers!

Salam, I'd go for the juggler on this (in love, of course). Contact the owner! No excuse what-so-ever. There ARE other options in Amman for kid's parties now, and they seem to act as if they are king of the burger joint.
I've gotten into several arguments with the MacD manager at Mecca St over the videos they show. I mean, my kids don't need to see butts and breasts jiggling at every TV. I went over his head, and any time they come in a cartoon goes on. It works!
