Reflections
AT ebb time I wrote a few lines upon the shore..and gave them all my heart and all my soul..at tide time I returned to read what I had inscribed and found my ignorance upon the shore.."jubran khalil"

:: Freehand

I find it extremely difficult to get rid of my free hand sketches, even after I have everything ready in Autocad. Computer drafted plans seem lifeless next to scribbles, doodles and crunched up butter paper. I have to admit I have often slipped a sketch or two inside the files of finished drawings that I show a client, and most people don't give them a second glance, they are more impressed with Autocad drawings..There have been the occasional client who expressed some interest in them, and who turned out to be big fans of doodling themselves, they'd take a pen and start showing me where they want things modified ..and that's my favorite kind of client..although very often they end up declaring they designed their own place, the architect just drafted it for them. I have come to terms with this by now..people just love doing it..and we have to live with it .(Do I sound bitter...Iguess I am!)

Now
, Good Luck trying to find the sketch that I REALLY need in this mess!

You are right, I think the ones that are done with human touch in it have some life in them compare to the ones done by AutoCAD. You have your soul and heart in them i guess!! :)

hmm , well it's really nice to do your own sketch and see how it evolves from one thing to another without even knowing that you were going that way , bas eno when you get the final sketch then it's time for autoCAD , and yes autoCAD will probably look better if it was done right :P
