It seems the two ministers who had to resign because of the contaminated water case in Mafraq, will have to drag the rest of the government along. After the salmonella shawerma in Baqa Refugee camp,I just heard on the radio that tens of children have been admitted to Karak hospital for consuming food or water infected with amoeba, still not clear what exactly was it they consumed.
I guess no food should be taken for granted. My heart goes to those with little choice, if any.

I always felt that there is not enough government supervision (with regards to Hygiene) over Jordanian restaurants in general and specifically - sandwich & shawerma Restaurants. Almost no one making the sandwiches wears gloves, I don’t think the refrigerators cooling temperatures are tested regularly, I‘ve never seen the temperature of the Shawerma being tested to check if its being cooked enough and almost every restaurant
(شعبي) I have seen, has broken tiles and filthy floors.
There may be laws & regulation regarding all of the above, but I don’t think they are being enforced.
