Reflections
AT ebb time I wrote a few lines upon the shore..and gave them all my heart and all my soul..at tide time I returned to read what I had inscribed and found my ignorance upon the shore.."jubran khalil"

:: Snow Storm Unleashes Hidden Talent

On Friday afternoon, after around three days of  being stuck at home,we were finally able to pull the car out of the garage, and went to Pizza Company in City Mall for lunch- (Double Pepperoni Pizza highly recommended) .Whenever we're out for lunch we always have something to distract the kids while we wait, so they were drawing and coloring, which is not a strange thing for Raya to be doing..she doodles all the time, and does great drawings with lots of accurate details, but is a totally different experience for Zaid.

Zaid treats crayons as an enemy that needs to be vanished as fast as possible, squashed into a carpet or melted on top of a radiator, Zaid hardly ever uses a pencil or pen for more than a minute..and has been known to use them on all the wrong places so far..walls, furniture, clothes,body..nothing is sacred..Up until yesterday!!! After three days stuck at home, my son's talents have been unleashed..he is actually adopting famous artists styles as he draws and paints;here's a sample:

Now, isn't this :

totally, Mondrian?

And doesn't this:

Totally scream Kandinsky?

It's true it seems what Pablo Picasso said:" All children are artists. The problem is how to remain
an artist once he grows up"

your son has talent! this is great.
frame his drawings or at least laminate them, they are really really nice. you never know, maybe he will stick to his drawing style when he gets older.
